This buzzy central square is a great browsing haven, with many cobbled narrow shopping lanes running off it with a choice of high street favourites and unique local eateries, bars and boutiques.
Placa Major, depending on the season has many street entertainers, musicians and the craft market, aimed towards tourists, which is open everyday 10am to 2pm during Easter, July, August, September. It's a good place to start to explore this area of the Old Town.
