“Unseen Miró”
A tribute for the 25th anniversary of the public opening of the Fundació Pilar i Joan a Mallorca, celebrating this gift by the artist to the city of Palma. This exhibition centers on the last period of the artist’s work on the island, from 1956 when he first arrived until his death in 1983.

Pablo Picasso (Málaga, 1881 - Mougins, 1973) always accorded great importance to his graphic work: between 1899 and 1972 he created more than 2,000 engravings, which comprise a virtual diary of his life as an artist.

There are also seventy permanent works by the most important Spanish artists of the 20th Century, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Juan Gris and Salvador Dalí among them.

Martian Tour

Some of the vibrant bars in Sa Gerreria take part in the massively popular Ruta Martiana (Martian route) on Tuesdays, where you will find offers of a special tapa and a drink for €2. Look out for the cartoon Martian in the windows of participating bars, try: Bar Farina (Carrer del Pes de la Farina 10), Molta Barra (next door) and Ca La Seu (Carrer de Corderia 17). A wonderful way to spend a night – bar-hopping, people-watching and eating, all for a few euros...
